After more than six months after the official presentation, Amazon Kindle Fire HD Kids Edition is prepared to land in Europe . US users have already got to try and appreciate the product, specially designed for all those children who come for the first time in the world of mobile technology.
The tablet is based on Kindle Fire HD 6 , the device features a 6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Quad-Core 1.5 GHz, 1 GB RAM and a rather low weight: 290 grams, all offered at only 99 €.
The special version for children has been reinforced in order to make the tablet as much as possible protected against scratches and drops different because, you know, the toys of children are often tested for resistance of any kind.
Amazon Kindle Fire HD Kids Edition can boast the same technical features of his older brother, also equipped with a VGA front-facing camera and a rear camera of 2 megapixels. In addition, the tablet has a video output that lets you connect the device to the TV. Of course – because of the special cover that protects the terminal – weight increased, reaching 360 grams .
The price has surged: starting from 149 € for the version with 8 GB of internal memory up to a 169 € for the 16GB model .
The tablet, available in blue color than pink, has not yet been entered in the Italian catalog of Amazon even though, in all likelihood, will make its appearance in the next few hours.
