Into If you own or know someone who owns a Kindle, either a tablet or an eReader, you might consider the possibility of using the new service to create a customized cover and give it to Christmas. Amazon , in fact, introduced the possibility of adding – at no additional cost – the Origami Cover photographs: they can be selected from a collection that spans everything from the television series Star Trek to those of the National Geographic or uploaded to the web by users.
We are not to the levels of three-dimensional printing, which also supports Amazon with a showcase , but I appreciate this solution: photographs can be easily detached and re-attached to the cover – which has a side folding to support the device in different positions. The housings are available HDX Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire, Kindle Paperwhite (of both generations) and Kindle Touch. One concern is access to the service from Italy, because there seems to be a translated page for our country.
Into Hoping that personalization is extended to the Italian for Christmas, on the fringes of the news I think it’s interesting to reflect on the concept “consuder” that Silvio Gulizia had introduced some week ago. If 3D printing is undoubtedly the ‘big thing’, intended to change the balance between producers and consumers, these customizations within the reach of everyone can have an even greater impact . I doubt anyone would buy a three-dimensional printer, but it could still be used to produce.
