For three years Tolino contrasts Amazon and Kobo with balanced ebook reader in the data sheet and flexible in software. Its top-of-range Vision (the last number is the Vision 3 HD) are resistant to liquids, use the E-Ink display card sharper available and a homogeneous lighting system. Their Tap2Flip , to change the page with a tap on the back, is one of the best alternatives to physical buttons.
Tolino Page It has a panel E-Ink Paper 800 x 600 pixels, CPU Freescale 1 GHz, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal space with expansion via microSD . It weighs 170 grams with 1000 mAh battery, and has the same chassis as the old Tolino Shine. The screen resolution remains low ( 167 PPI ), but the type is newer than the one used in the last similarly priced Kindle. Usually the advice is to increase the budget until the end of the 100 euro so as to buy a backlit model to 300 PPI (Tolino Shine 2HD, Paperwhite Kindle, Kobo Glo HD). However, if the goal is to have a 2nd ebook reader, something to keep in the family or take to the sea without worries, even these basic models allow you to read thousands of books with a superior comfort to any tablet .
