Thanks to CyanogenMod , many owners Android smartphones have been able to prolong the life of its own beyond that envisaged by the manufacturer device: the version 13 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow , arrives today for different models of Sony Xperia and Amazon Kindle Fire .
the Sony terminals to receive the team’s attentions are Xperia T , Xperia TX and Xperia V , originally released in 2012 with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and “terminated” with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean .
Among the Amazon tablet, however, the support comes to Kindle Fire HDX version of 7 and 8.9 inches: both have come on the market in 2013, with a highly customized version of Android from the e-commerce giant.
As a footnote we add that even Samsung Galaxy S III Neo has received a first taste of CyanogenMod , even if it is the version 12.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop : at the moment, it seems all work with the exception of ‘ NFC . After that, the link for the download ROM , whose installation is recommended only for experienced users (, or with nothing to lose – Ed ) .
