08/31/2016 – Amazon offers Kindle , the most popular e-reader among those who love to read digitally. Just a few days ago, on August 24, the US firm has claimed its newest project called Kindle Reading Fund. Born with the aim to promote reading and simultaneously make digital more accessible worldwide. The intention is to give a large number of Kindle Fire tablet and millions of e-books to countries developing in collaboration with various organizations, including Worldwidereader, with whom he has already worked in the past.
Recently, he has indeed worked with Amazon to LEAP 2.0 project, through which as many 61 libraries in Kenya and about 500,000 of its inhabitants were able to benefit from the e-book. The Worldwidereader, too, can boast of having made sure that, over the past six years, a large number of books has reached more than 4 million people. These are impressive numbers, given that in some countries the culture is not promoted, and unfortunately today’s youth are increasingly less interested in reading. Just think of dozens of libraries that are closing each year.
Amazon promotes reading and just like for Worldwidereader, it is not the first time and not the last. The company has given, and continues to give, thousands of e-books of all kinds to students and teachers. In collaboration with the National PTA also is working on a project that sees the involvement of parents in a reading program named Family Reading Experience. Family support is very important in the education of children, so the hope is that this initiative from levying a great success. Younger children are the future and, fortunately, Amazon knows this well and brings a considerable help.
If this is not enough, simply mention some of the other bodies to which Amazon offers the Kindle. Amazon promotes reading and, according to a spokesman, the dream of the company is to make sure that the books and the benefits that come to lead people as possible, including those of developing countries.
