Amazon updates the Kindle app for Windows 8 - WebNews

Kindle 2.0 for Windows 8/RT has a revamped user interface and new features that simplify the reading, research and adding notes.

Amazon has announced the availability of a new version of Windows 8 for RT and Windows that allows you to view the ebook compatible with its digital reader. The Kindle app , released last year and updated about three months ago, is still not perfect but finally offers a user experience similar to that offered by similar versions for Windows 7, Android and iOS . In total were introduced seven new and updated two existing functionality.
