Amazon has announced the availability of a new version of Windows 8 for RT and Windows that allows you to view the ebook compatible with its digital reader. The Kindle app , released last year and updated about three months ago, is still not perfect but finally offers a user experience similar to that offered by similar versions for Windows 7, Android and iOS . In total were introduced seven new and updated two existing functionality. Kindle 2.0 for Windows 8/RT , a free download from the Windows Store, first of all presents a startup screen re-designed with two main sections, My Books and Kindle Store , or books purchased and those available on the digital store that might interest you. Into The options menu has been updated and now allows you to change the font size, margins and background color. If necessary, you can activate the view single column (by default, the book is shown in two columns). We still lack the ability to choose the font and brightness. Finally, the section has been renewed My Books . The user can view the titles stored locally or on the cloud, and sort them by author, title and date.
