Very light, very thin and very expensive: in a couple of weeks comes the new eBook reader from Amazon

If the Voyage it looked expensive (starting from 189 €), Oasis will make you jump out of the chair: the new reader Amazon eBooks will cost 289,99 EUR. On the other hand, weighs only 131 grams (50 less than the Voyage) and is 3.4 mm thick (at the thinnest point, half of the Voyage): what matters most, though, is the longevity of the batteries. Are two, one positioned in the lower part of the eBook reader, and the other in cover , and according to Amazon provide a total charge of more than two months. The 6 “screen remains the same as the Paperwhite, backlit by 300 PPI, with a new generation of LED light that makes it even brighter.

The pre-order begins now, and the first Oasis will arrive within a couple of weeks. If you spend the equivalent of 43 novels by Umberto Eco for a reader looks too, always in the house you will find the classic Amazon Kindle for less than 70 Euros (and often discounted at 50 Euros) or the excellent Paperwhite backlit 129.99 euro.
