George, the son of a employee layoffs and a housewife, despite the generous intelligence, the will and strength of mind, will give up his dreams, college and become a humble worker. All to help his family through a dark period and difficult. He will have to get used to life at the factory, a reality full of futile struggles and petty, where feelings are moved only by interests. When all seems lost, but here is a ray of light rise from oblivion: Michela. Her contemporary, intelligent, beautiful and unabashedly rich. Among them will sprout a passion which soon will blossom into love. But the dark evil is lurking and after a few years the shadow of the routine begins to bite, the blade of a different social class falls inexorably over their heads. Those differences that at first had been their strength, and an obstacle to be tackled together, become increasingly heavy, perhaps insurmountable, so that their love will be put to the test.
