the new models maintain the old prices but they come in white and with a more ergonomic design, also suitable for sessions prolonged reading
After the launch of Oasis, the most powerful ever Kindle, Amazon updates the “old” e-reader, with a new basic Kindle also available in white, lighter and more thin and with a storage space doubled. The design was also revised, with more rounded edges so as to facilitate and make more convenient the grip even more during long reading sessions.
Amazon has also updated the Kindle Paperwhite, with backlight and definition of the upper screen to the basic model, which comes in a new version with white shell. The new Paperwhite will be available from June 30 to 129 Euros, while the new basic Kindle remains stable on the old price of 69,90 EUR.
“Tens of millions of readers around the world are using the e-reader Kindle and today we are delighted to have further improved our Kindle despite maintaining the same price,” said Arthur van Rest, general manager of the Kindle. “The ability to have a thinner and lighter device with twice the memory and all the features that customers appreciate the Kindle, shows us that there is no better time than now for people who love to read.”
