Microsoft has released an update of the app camera the default of Windows 10 to the Insider in Fast Ring. The new version, number 1016.11, it shows some new features in the UI picture-taking; for example, the icons are now white in color solid and the settings button now has the symbol of the gears instead of the three dots.

It is also updated, Preview Skype UWP, with some improvements in the reception of calls to the Lumia series x50 and other bug fix and generic. The new version is 11.8.202.0.

Finally, Amazon indicates that it is ready to withdraw from the Windows Store Kindle app for Windows 8. The goal, says the company in an e-mail sent to the users concerned, is simplify the offering by concentrating its efforts on the app Win32 (available HERE, direct download). The app for Windows 8 will no longer be available to download starting from October 27, but will remain fully functional for those who already own one.

Note that this speaks exclusively of the app for desktop systems; one for Windows Phone 8 has not been mentioned, which will remain in place.
