Amazon has today released a new application for Mac that allows anyone to create and publish books for Kindle. Currently in beta and only available in English, the app Kindle Textbook Creator can be downloaded for Mac or Windows PC via the website of Amazon.
Similar to the app to Apple for Mac iBooks Author (which debuted in 2012), Kindle Textbook Creator makes it easy to create textbooks and other teaching materials, which can be enriched with graphics and other content.
In addition, the application is able to convert files PDF books in digital format, then ready for distribution on the Kindle Store.
In addition to the format of Microsoft Word (doc and docx), the application also supports HTML, Mobi, ePub and many others .
