A nasty surprise and even shock. James Potten, an English gentleman resident in Bristol, had purchased and ordered a Kindle, a classic electronic book reader. Instead, what he got was a sample of human tumor destined to the Royal Free Hospital in London sent from California. The carrier used was the FedEx: the hospital have indicated that they were aware that the package waiting had been sent to the wrong address, but in the meantime Mr. Potten found himself in his hands the unpleasant surprise. The packet received at home was written just his name, but it was discovered where he was the catch: the Ship Code had the same first five and the last three numbers of the two recipients. FedEx took note of the serious mistake and proceeded to send the sample of hospital cancer and the Kindle to the client, explaining that probably their shipping procedures need new and additional checks.
