Amazon Kindle thinks of vending machines - Planet eBook

vending-machine_2787073b-1

It’s called

Kindle Kiosk the machine that Amazon wanted to experiment in the structure of airport McCarran in Las Vegas to sell its eReaders.

It is a real publicity stunt to launch its new eBook reader Kindle Paperwhite as well as the most advanced Kindle Fire HDX and other products, while in fact surprised by his absence at CES -Consumer Electronics Show, 2014, Amazon had it installed this week by a distributor to sell devices as if they were snacks.

The effect was awestruck, and perhaps more that any failure to attend the event. Considerable initiative especially if we consider that this action Amazon has tested a new means of distribution and at the same time has created a ‘ marketing operation . The audience in fact a bit ‘driven by novelty, a little’ for the convenience responded to purchase.

It seems that the answer was satisfactory, considering that no discounts were to be carried, because the price is on the website. Moreover, the market of devices is increasing and many companies are enabled to produce their own product. So obviously Amazon has decided to do something sensational to emerge with something totally unexpected.

do not know instead of the future will have this first experience as Amazon has not said whether this will be the first distributor out , it will be placed if other distributors in other places or in other countries.

Surely this new system could be interesting for the distribution remains some concern about the fact that a product is not priced like that of a Twinkie is entered in a ‘ Kiosk ‘ unattended and that receives and accumulates a considerable amount of money. Without considering what might happen if the distributor Kindle jams after they have been inserted money …
