Audiocassettes and books: a blast from the past, before MP3 and Kindle - Gizmodo Italy

A giant leap backward. One of those “odd couples” that will take you back in time and feel a bit ‘more young (or too old, depending on your point of view). These pretty bookmarks, designed to look like in a perfect way the old audio tapes, work, of course, with the good old books. Yes, those of paper, printed, bulky, romantic.

The cassette is attached to top of the page of the book, and remains in place with a series of magnets, while a ribbon hangs downwards to make it easier to open the book at the point where you stopped reading.
Available in sets of three in different colors, they cost just $ 6 (less than 5 Euros). A perfect way to tell the world that were there before the MP3 and the Kindle and it was not so bad.
