Amazon has released an update to the app that activates the functionality of reading Whispersync for Voice on Google and Apple operating systems. Kindle for Android and iOS now allow you to quickly switch dall’ebook all’audiolibro with a single touch of the fingers, then without leaving the app. Previously it was necessary to install Audible for iOS and Android. The Seattle company specifies, however, that professional narration is available on approximately 45,000 books in vast catalog.

To make a match between ebook and audiobook, Amazon offers the service Matchmaker . It scans the user’s library and then verified the existence of the audio version Audible . With Whispersync for Voice, the new app (for iOS 4.3 and 4.5 for Android) automatically synchronize reading progress between versions Kindle and Audible book. The page change takes place automatically and you can increase the speed of the narrative or set a sleep timer. The cost of upgrading the audio varies between $ 0.99 for older books and $ 3.99 for the best seller. Prices are in dollars because the feature is not yet available in Italy.

On iOS you can download the entire collection with a button, simplifying the loading of favorite books on the new device. Students may instead search for the terms that are in X-Ray for Textbooks, using our search. Amazon has also improved performance and stability of the app. Android has been improved multi-device synchronization and notifications.

Russ Grandinetti, vice president of Amazon Kindle, said:

With the integration of professional narration in Kindle app you can start reading the book at home and continue listening in the car without losing the thread.
