Air attacks iPad Amazon: Kindle Fire HDX "lighter than air" - Macity

Amazon iPad Into Air attacks on the home page of Amazon.com, highlighting the lighter weight of its Kindle Fire HDX 8.9-inch, omitting, however, the difference in width of the screen.

Amazon did not let the opportunity pass and attacked Air Apple iPad after only 24 hours of presentation, to promote its competitor Kindle Fire HDX with 8.9-inch screen. A new promotional image on the first page of e-commerce online (now no longer seems no longer available) had the Kindle Fire HDX as “lighter than air”, “lighter than air”, a play on words referring obviously to Air iPad, given the capital letters in the word “Air”.Into On balance the affirmation of Amazon is correct: the new iPad Air lightest weighs 469 grams, while the 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HDX weighs 374 grams. Amazon also shows how its Kindle Fire tablet remains with the greater density of pixels per inch (339 ppi). In Italy, for now merely highlight the Amazon Kindle Fire as its surprisingly light, without direct references to iPad. Of course, the comparison is between the wicked and the obvious: One 8.9-inch screen weighs less than a 9.7-inch screen, a difference which would be taken into account in the review of the pros and cons, while at the same resolution it is equally obvious that the smaller screen will have a higher pixel density. Perhaps it is for these reasons that the image has been removed.

Into It’s not the first time that Amazon takes the opportunity to attack the iPad directly to your Home Page: had already happened with mini iPad, the presentation of which had found Amazon now ready to exploit the characteristics of the 7.9-inch tablet from Apple , considered the launch of the Kindle Fire less than those available.
