Kindle Paperwhite 2014: Amazon changes everything - Eeevolution

Amazon prepares the launch of Kindle Paperwhite 2014. The new model will display with a pixel density of 300 PPI, a system of integrated vibration and wire frame as the rival Kobo Aura. Will be put on the market in the early part of Q2, 2014, probably in April. There are rumors published by Techcrunch. The U.S. site has been tested in a prototype advanced (the “Ice Wine”) and summed impressions and considerations in this article. There are many new features to discuss.

A model

‘s strange to hear about a new Paperwhite a few weeks after the launch of the second generation model – read my review. Amazon is usual to upgrade its devices annually, and memory can not remember the other eReader replaced after less than 6 months of marketing. As of this writing there is no official information, but it is likely that Amazon wants to propose an ebook reader top-of-range alongside the existing line so as to have three models in different price ranges, it is a bit ‘that we have seen done in Kobo , now on the market with Kobo Glo, and Kobo Kobo Aura Aura HD.

Hyphenation and light sensor

On Kindle Paperwhite 2014 we will see the design applied to the HDX Fire tablet – and it was time – with the power button and the rear rigid lines, squared. Techcrunch about a new font designed internally suitable for long reading sessions, treatment of real glass with opaque panel on the E-Ink, the aforementioned vibration when changing page and a weight lower than at present. There is also talk of a Kindle with built-in hyphenation and an integrated light sensor to automatically adjust the backlight intensity. A lot of new stuff and some real news for the sector eReader (Blessed competition!) Which we will return in the coming weeks.
